The Gulf of Finland Science Days
“New start for the Gulf of Finland co-operation”
The Gulf of Finland Science Days were held in the Estonian Academy of Sciences in Tallinn, Estonia in 29-30 November, 2021. The event was co-organised by the Estonian Academy of Sciences and Finnish Environment Institute and financially supported by Estonian Ministry of Environment
About 100 scientists participated to the two-day conference. There were 25 oral presentations 33 posters from 26 various institutes.
Next The Gulf of Finland Science Days will be organized in Helsinki by the Finnish Environment Institute.

Gulf of Finland Science Days “Facing our Common Future”
The Gulf of Finland Science Days were held in Helsinki at the House of Estates on 13-14 November, 2019, The opening speech was given by president Tarja Halonen (see at: Tarja Halonen speech (pdf))
About 150 scientists and stakeholders participated to the two-day conference. There were 44 oral presentations 25 posters from 44 various institutes. During the Science Days ongoing projects were introduced (21 presentations). For the first time, a special Young scientists session was organized with 15 presentations.
Next The Gulf of Finland Science Days will be organized in Tallinn by the Estonian Academy of Sciences.

The event was held in in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on 17th-18th October 2018, and it was devoted to 50th Annivesary of Gulf of Finland co-operation.

The event was held in the Estonian Academy of Sciences, Kohtu 6, Tallinn on Oct 9th-10th.This year the event is organized by the Estonian Academy of Sciences, Marine Institute at the Tartu University and the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE)
